Q) Who Provides the Services on the Branch?
A) Services are provided by One Railway the train operator for the East of England
 
Q) Where can I find Information about the places on the Branch Line?
A) Click on The Stations, and select the town/village your interested in
 
Q) The Train Company is a Profit Making Organisation why do they need help?
A) Whilst the Mainline and Intercity services in the East are profit making and well used, and attract lots of passengers per day, the branch lines not so much and cost money to run, the Sudbury Line especially isn't advertised as well as it could be.
 
Q) What other 'Local Lines' are there in the East?
A) Crouch Valley Line, The Wherry Lines, The Bittern Line, The East Suffolk Line, The Felixstowe Line, also Norwich/Ipswich to Cambridge
 
Q) But isn't the Sudbury Train old, unreliable, and usually replaced by a bus?
A) That was the case in the early/mid 1990s, Performance is now very good, and services are operated by Modern Sliding Door 'Sprinter' Trains, click on Trains to find out more.
 
Q) Why is this site called 'The Sudbury Line" when there are other stations on the line, and its officially titled 'The Gainsborough Line"?
A) Because its known and referred to by the staff and Auto Announcers as The Sudbury Line, and I wanted to make it clear that this site wasn't endorsed by the One Railway
 
Q) Seriously, Why are you taking the time to run this site?
A) Because I want to, I live in the area, enjoy using the trains and wish to promote the line to ensure its future success
